Meet the T16 Pro – The Smart, Affordable Thru‑Axle Gravel Folding Bike

Many of our customers have fallen in love with the T18 full‑titanium thru‑axle gravel version – and for good reason. Its stiff, responsive ride and rugged versatility make it a dream machine for mixed‑surface adventures. But we also know that not everyone needs (or wants) to pay the premium for a 3D‑printed hinge and a T‑Line‑spec main beam.

That’s why we created the T16 Pro Thru‑Axle – a thoughtfully engineered alternative that gives you almost the same gravel‑ready geometry, at a much friendlier price point.

What’s the difference between T16 and T18?

  • The T18 uses the same oversized main frame tube as the T‑Line, paired with a 3D‑printed folding hinge.

  • The T16 Pro borrows its main beam from the new P‑Line (slightly smaller diameter, but still exceptionally stiff), and features a CNC‑machined folding hinge instead of a 3D‑printed one.

This simple change saves $300 in production cost – with zero compromise on folding reliability or ride feel.

Built for Gravel, with Thru‑Axles

Despite the different main beam, the T16 Pro retains the exact same geometry as the T18. It comes with 100/142 mm thru‑axle front and rear forks, giving you the same wheel‑securing stiffness and disc‑brake alignment that gravel riders demand.

Want to go even lighter on the wallet? Swap the titanium stem for a carbon fibre stem – that’s another $400 saved, while keeping the overall weight impressively low.

Customise Your Drivetrain & Components

The T16 Pro is a blank canvas for your ideal build:

  • Groupset options: L‑TWOO electronic 11‑speed or Shimano 105 mechanical 11‑speed.

  • Brakes: Choose L‑TWOO or Shimano hydraulic disc brakes.

  • Wheels & tyres: Carbon wheelset paired with Schwalbe Billy tyres for that perfect mix of grip and speed.

The final folded size is approximately 60 × 59 × 38 cm – a compact, titanium‑carbon hybrid tri‑fold gravel bike that fits easily into train, car boot, or apartment storage.

For Special Needs – T20 & DIY Options

  • If you’re planning to install a rear geared hub motor, we recommend looking at our T20 model, which offers a 135 mm rear dropout option for easier motor integration.

  • For those on a tighter budget, you can also start with our A/C/P‑Line style frames and pair them with 100/135 mm open‑dropout forks & Triangle – perfect for a self‑built DIY gravel project.
